Hello!<\/span><\/p>

<\/a> These two are us: Eponine and S\u00e9bastien. Eponine lived in Madrid for 20 years and for 15 years organized artist’s open studio\u00a0 weekends in neighborhood districts of the center of Madrid: La Latina, Lavapi\u00e8s, Malasa\u00f1a, and Chueca. She met S\u00e9bastien in a bar in Brussels during the summer of 2011. What was supposed to be a holiday romance lasted a little longer than expected, and after a few months of long-distance love, S\u00e9bastien decided to move to Madrid in 2012 and began actively collaborating on the organization of the “Artistas del Barrio” open studio.<\/p>

We think that giving visibility to local artists one weekend a year wasn’t enough, so we opened our first store near Madrid’s Rastro in 2018.<\/p>

In 2024, we opened our second store, this time in Brussels. We’ve exported our Spanish artists there and are also starting to work with local artists there, creating a special connection between our two prefered cities.<\/p>
